My name is Genevieve Story and I LOVE what I do!

I choose creative projects that support and celebrate small businesses, environmental conservation and non-profit organizations, in the spirit of infusing visual creativity into the everyday life of our community. I believe that the best results come from bouncing ideas around with my clients and I am open to working in almost any medium to best suit your project needs.

I am a wife and mother just beginning my freelance artistic journey outside the corporate realm. Before taking this leap, I worked as Lead Artist at Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville. I managed the artist team and worked with marketing to create signage, chalkboard art, and countless other marketing materials.

Before beginning my art career, I received a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a concentration in Wildlife Ecology in hopes of working in the wildlife rehabilitation field. I also worked for several years at animal shelters both in Maine and Virginia and continue to volunteer for and support animal welfare and environmental conservation organizations.
